His Rule is the first book in a new trilogy by authors A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight. It tells the story of Lawson “Judge” Montgomery and Mercedes De La Rosa, and I seriously could not put it down! We were first introduced to Judge and Mercedes in the author’s Society Trilogy, which tells the story of Santiago, Mercedes’s brother, and Ivy Moreno. Even though it’s not necessary to read Santiago and Ivy’s story first, I feel like you’ll understand the backstories better by doing so. Also, I love their story and believe you will too.

I began His Rule with mixed feelings about Mercedes, and I couldn’t wait to find out more about her. So, as soon as it showed up on my Kindle, I dropped everything and jumped in. I had a feeling there was a lot more to Mercedes’s story, and I was definitely correct.

Now, I’m dying to go into more detail, but I don’t want to spoil anything for you. Just know that His Rule is an emotional and nail-biting roller-coaster ride, and I seriously couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! Oh, and that ending seriously nearly did me in! Now, I’m dying for the second book! It can’t come soon enough!
