Kisser of Death is the first book in the Kisses of Sorrow series written by author M. H. B. This was the first book I’ve read from the author, and it definitely won’t be my last! The storyline was so captivating that I was absolutely hooked from the very first page. Even though this is true, it was the characters that really captured me.
Kisser of Death tells the story of Gemma Ackerman, a twenty-four-year-old woman who lives with her boyfriend, Harvey. Their relationship has been on the rocks for roughly 2.5 years, and Gemma is truly unhappy. She begins working at Dreygon Environmental Consulting Firm and truly loves her new job. However, it’s her new boss Damon, the company owner, that has Gemma smiling again.
This story was so gripping that I was on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster ride, and I seriously almost died during the last couple of chapters! So, prepare yourself for quite the cliffhanger!
Now the second book can’t come soon enough!
