Melissa has done it again!
One of my favorite things in life is discovering a new book in The Whiskey and The Wickeds series! As I begin each book, I swear that there’s no way that Melissa can top the last one. And each book, I’m proven wrong! In the previous book that I’ve read, I completely fell for Benson “Tank” Wicked, whose story is the second book in The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series. So, as I turned the first page of Diesel’s book, I wondered if there’s any way that he could stand up to “my” Tank. And OMG, Melissa, Diesel is all that and a bag of chips!
So you’re aware, each book in the series tells the story of a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. However, we often see characters from Melissa’s other books. So, if you’re like me and enjoy knowing all of the backstories, I recommend reading the series in order. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.
Running on Diesel tells the story of Desmond “Diesel” Black and Tracey Kline. Diesel is a nomad in the Dark Knights MC, and he usually desires to be out on the open road. However, The Whiskeys needed help in Peaceful Harbor, and he’s been there for the past two years. It’s been the longest he’s spent in one place in a really long time. Diesel desires to be back on the open road, but someone is making him second guess this desire for the first time, and that’s Tracey.
Running on Diesel is the ninth book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights of Peaceful Harbor series, and I fell fast and hard for Diesel. As the saying goes, big men are the real-life teddy bears!
