Savior of Regrets is the fourth book in the Verona Legacy series and can be read as a standalone mafia romance. Even though this is true, I suggest reading the series in chronological order. I believe that it will give you a better foundation to better understand and appreciate the storyline. I also highly recommend reading Angel of Tears, a short story in the Verona Legacy series, before beginning this fourth book. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.
Savior of Regrets tells the story of Matteo Bellatoni and Caitlin O’Connell, and let me tell you, it was an emotional page-turner! The road to ‘Happily Ever After’ is not always paved in gold or paved at all. Many couple’s paths are rough and rocky, and this was the case for Matteo and Caitlin. While their path was not an easy one, it was exceptionally written and perfectly paced.
Even though Nicco, Enzo, and Matteo are extremely close, they’re all very different. I’ve always been intrigued by Matteo as he’s more of a compassionate person than the others. As I read his story, I felt more connected to him, and when I reached the end, I honestly felt like I ran a marathon!
Savior of Regrets is an unforgettable story!

Prince of Hearts is one of L.A. Cotton’s best stories so far, and I’m dying to fill you in on all the details. Although, I do believe you need to read it without any spoilers. So, all I can tell you is that it’s a modern-day retelling of Romeo and Juliet, and it’s just brilliant. And oh my stars, I was not expecting the cliffhanger, and it’s a doozy!
So, grab a drink, some snacks, and buckle yourself in for an amazing ride!

Epic! What a fantastic story!
King of Souls is the second book in the Verona Legacy series, and it’s also the conclusion to Nicco and Ari’s story. I absolutely loved the first book, Prince of Hearts, and I was so excited when I saw the second book on my Kindle! I seriously dropped everything and dove right in! And let me tell you, I could not turn the pages fast enough!
King of Souls begins where we were left off, and I was on the edge of my seat throughout most of the book! Like all of L.A. Cotton’s books, the storyline was top-notch, but it was the characters that had me wishing for the pages to never end! The story was full of drama, angst, suspense, passion, and so much more! Oh, and that ending almost did me in! I think I held my breath through most of it!
I cannot wait for Enzo and Nora’s story!

Unputdownable!
Villain of Secrets is the third book in the Verona Legacy series and can be read as a standalone mafia romance. Even though this is true, I recommend reading the series in order. I believe that it will give you a better foundation for understanding and appreciating the storyline. However, just know that this is only a suggestion.
Villain of Secrets tells Enzo and Nora’s story, and I’ve been looking forward to reading it for a while now! Enzo is dealing with many demons, and he’s become a loose cannon. The only one that seems to be able to ground him is Nora, but he’s reluctant to bring her into his world. It’s a good thing that Nora is such a strong woman and absolutely perfect for him. Oh, and their chemistry is so blazing hot!
L.A. Cotton has become one of my favorite go-to authors, and I began this third book with high expectations. And let me tell you, and I was not disappointed! The storyline was so captivating, but it was the characters that really pulled me in. L.A. Cotton has a way of developing such engaging and complex characters that cause you to become completely engrossed.
I can easily say that Villain of Secrets is definitely one of my favorite books in 2021!
