Ruthless Saints is the third book in the St. Monarch’s Academy series written by author Michelle Heard. It tells the story of Carson Koslov and Hailey Welsh and can be read as a standalone mafia romance. Even though this is true, I recommend reading the other books in the St. Monarch’s Academy world as they’re all so captivating!
We were initially introduced to Carson in the first book, Merciless Saints, and I’ve been looking forward to reading his book ever since! Carson graduated from St. Monarch’s academy and is currently living in Switzerland as a contracted assassin. He’s a bit of a recluse, and he prefers to work alone.
Hailey is an adventurous backpacker passing through Switzerland when she meets Carson. Their chemistry was instant, and she brightened up his dark world. However, she’s not a part of the mafia, which is a major issue for Carson. Will Carson let her go or try to make her understand and accept the world he lives in?
Ruthless Saints is another captivating storyline, and I was hooked from the very first page. I can’t wait to read Demitri Vetrov’s story, Tears of Betrayal, which is the next book in the St. Monarch’s Academy world.

Wow! Absolutely amazing!
Merciless Saints is the first book in the St. Monarch’s Academy series written by author Michelle Heard. Each book in the series tells the story of a different couple and can be read as a standalone enemies-to-lovers romance. Merciless Saints tells the story of Winter Hemsley and Damien Vetrov, and I literally devoured it!
Winter and Damien are from rival crime families, and they both attend St. Monarch’s Academy. The school teaches the students the skills needed to succeed in the crime world. However, one important rule is that the school is considered neutral ground. Even though Winter and Damien are rivals, she finds herself in a dangerous situation and is forced to decide if she can trust Damien.
Merciless Saints is an exciting page-turner, and I was hooked from the very first page. The storyline was captivating, unique, and steamy! Oh, and let me tell you, Damien was the perfect alpha male, and he seriously made my knees weak!
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Another fabulous book by author Michelle Heard!
Cruel Saints tells the story of Lucian Controni and Elena Lucas. Lucian’s father is the head of the mafia, and Lucian is the second in command. He attends the St. Monarch’s Academy, which is a school that teaches the skills needed to succeed in the crime world. Elena is the daughter of Valentino Lucas, an arms dealer for the mafia. Her home life is very difficult, and she dreams of being free.
On her twenty-first birthday, Elena’s father sends her to St. Monarch’s Academy. Elena’s happy to be away from her father and guards, and she plans on learning as much as she can while away. When she first sees Lucian, she thinks he’s beautiful, but she doesn’t want anything to do with him. However, Lucian is intrigued and will not give up.
Cruel Saints’ storyline was captivating and impossible to put down. I was hooked from the very first page and couldn’t turn the pages fast enough!
I can’t wait to read Carson Koslov’s story, which is the next one in the St. Monarch’s Academy world.
