Genre: MC Romance/Romantic Suspense
Release Date: May 28, 2021
What doesn’t kill me had better start running…
Life as I knew it ended with a bullet.
It stole my brother from me and destroyed my family.
From the ashes, I rose stronger and meaner, to exact the kind of revenge best served bloody and cold.
I took out every single person I held responsible.
Except one.
He’s a phantom, but his days are numbered.
Because I won’t stop until I’m done.
Then she shows up.
The forbidden fruit.
A light to my darkness.
I should resist her because what I touch, I destroy.
And my feisty wildflower deserves more.
More than this.
More than me.
But there is a monster lurking in the shadows.
A psychopath.
Watching her.
Watching us.
His threats torment her.
And they make my black heart burn.
But he should know,
you don’t ever mess with me or the people I love.

Jack is the first book in The Kings of Mayhem MC – Tennessee Chapter series written by author Penny Dee. It is a spinoff from the author’s The Kings of Mayhem MC series and can be read as a standalone romance. However, if you like me and enjoy knowing all of the background stories, I suggest reading the original series first. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.

Jack tells the story of Jack Dillinger, the president of the Tennessee chapter, and Bronte Vale, the younger next-door neighbor.  Bronte attends college, but she heads home suddenly after several frightening events. Unfortunately, her grandmother’s away, but Bronte’s sexy neighbor, Jack, is home.

Jack sees how much Bronte’s grown, but he’s nervous about acting on his feelings since she’s roughly 15 years younger than him.  However, Bronte’s been in love with Jack for a really long time, and she believes it’s finally the right time.

Jack is a suspenseful MC romance, and I quickly got pulled into the storyline.  There were several twists along the way, and I was completely surprised by them! I definitely recommend adding Jack to your TBR list for all my fellow MC romance lovers!
