Regret and Redemption is the fourth book in the Forever Inked series, and it tells the story of Chase Montgomery and Maggie Malone. I’ve been looking forward to reading Chase’s book for a while now, and it was well worth the wait! Chase is a ladies man, afraid of all types of commitment. That is until he meets Maggie, a single mother to an adorable six-year-old girl, Ella. Chase can’t stop thinking of Maggie, and he unexpectedly bumps into them. It was like fate had a plan for them!

Regret and Redemption’s storyline was filled with passion and captured my attention from the very first page. It was flawlessly written, engaging, and so well developed. I truly love Chase and Maggie’s story, and I seriously did not want to put my book down!

Regret and Redemption can be read as a standalone romance. However, if you’re like me and enjoy knowing the backstories, I recommend reading the series from the beginning. I believe it will give you a better foundation to appreciate the storyline. Just know that it’s only a suggestion. Zach, Rissa, Draven, and Layla do make appearances within the story, which is a treat for everyone who has already read the series.

Wow! What a great book!

Tattooed Hearts is the first book in the Tattooed Duet series written by author Sabrina Wagner. This duet is a spin-off from the author’s Hearts Series. I had not read the books in the Hearts Series and was able to follow along without any issues. The couples from the series did appear within this story, but not in a confusing way for those that haven’t read it. I am more curious about their stories and will be adding them to my ever-growing TBR list. I think reading the series before will lay a better understanding of the background between some of the characters, but just know it’s not necessary.

Tattooed Hearts tells the story of Clarissa Lynn Black (Rissa). Both of her parents have passed away, and she only has her fiance Wes, who she is living with. Suddenly, he passes away unexpectedly, and she feels very alone. His family is very rich, and his father is a really horrible man who assumes she is only after his money. So, he bans her from the funeral and gives her three days to vacate their apartment. Zack is Wes’s brother, and he does not get along with his father at all. He helps Rissa get back on her feet including helping her move in with him. They become very close, but Rissa is keeping a big secret.

Loved the story and can’t wait for the next book!

Tattooed Souls is the second and final book in the Tattooed Duet written by author Sabrina Wagner. This story is not a standalone romance so you will need to read Tattooed Hearts before beginning this one. Tattooed Duet is a spin-off of the author’s Hearts Series. I have not read the Hearts Series but was still able to follow along without any issues. We begin Tattooed Souls where we are left off in the first book with Zack still extremely upset at Rissa. He believes she has cheated on him and gotten pregnant by another man. Although, the situation is much more complicated and he hasn’t given Rissa the chance to explain. Rissa’s mother, father, and Wes (Rissa’s ex-fiance as well as Zack’s brother) have all passed away. So, Rissa thinks that Zack will leave eventually too, so she just packs and leaves.

The storyline is gripping, and I was hooked from the very first page. The characters are well developed, and there was not much that could have pried me away!

I absolutely love this duet! A must-read!

That’s the first word that came to mind when I set my eyes upon my new co-worker at Forever Inked.
Beautiful.
That’s the next word my mind conjured up. I’d never thought of a man as beautiful before. Handsome? Yes. Cute? Sure. Freakin’ hot? Absolutely. Beautiful? Never.
Draven was dangerously beautiful.
I stopped dealing with dangerous men years ago. I’d gone to extremes to avoid them. I’d created a new life for myself. I was happy. Perhaps a little lonely, but safe. I’d take lonely over a dangerous man any day, no matter how beautiful he was.
I just didn’t know how I was going to avoid Draven since I had to work with him every day. Not even God was going to be able to help me with this one.

My new “boss” was curvy as hell, wrapped in tight jeans and a t-shirt that showed just a hint of cleavage. Layla’s inky black hair fell halfway down her back and begged to have my hand wrapped around it as she screamed out my name. I didn’t miss the way her perfectly drawn, dark-lined cat eyes had roamed over my body or the way she had clenched her thighs together.
Little did she know that she’d already started a fire within me. A curiosity. I wouldn’t be happy until I solved the puzzle that was her.
I wouldn’t be here long, but Layla could entertain me while I was. She was mine.

Another fabulous book from author Sabrina Wagner!

Smoke and Mirrors is a captivating romance that tells the story of Draven and Layla. This story can be read on its own, or read after the author’s Tattooed Duet. I recommend reading the duet as it tells the story of Rissa and Zack, who both play small parts in Smoke and Mirrors. I suggest this as it will help you understand the backstories, and I also absolutely love their story. Just know that it’s not mandatory, only a suggestion.

In Smoke and Mirrors, Zack and Rissa are heading to California for 4 weeks, and he asks his friend Draven to work at Forever Inked while they are gone. Draven normally works for his father in his organization, but he was able to get time off to help Zack. Draven is immediately taken with Layla, another tattoo artist, and his temporary boss. Layla has a very complicated past, and she hasn’t dated anyone in five years. Draven and Layla’s attraction to each other is pretty intense, and it doesn’t take long before they form an understanding. And let me tell you, Draven is smoking hot and has a very well placed piercing! Their sex scenes are so dang hot, you’ll need a spare pair of panties!!

The storyline is gripping, suspenseful, and I was hooked from the very beginning. I had a hard time putting this book down and read late into the night!! I especially love the characters! They are so well developed, and I felt a part of the story.

A definite add to your TBR list!!
