The Devil's Vengeance - Review

Gian
I knew I’d never have the luxury of choosing my own wife. An arranged marriage was a sacrifice men in my position had to make for their families. It wasn’t something I looked forward to, but it had to be done.
I just never imagined my father would choose her to be my bride. Daniela Moretti, the daughter of my enemy…and I intended to treat her as such.
But since the day she set foot in my house as my wife, my loathing of her turned into something deadlier than hate. Her strength intrigued me. Her fight seduced me. And I started seeing more in her than just dirty, filthy Moretti blood.
Now…she’s gone. Kidnapped. Vanished without a trace.
But the devil always finds what’s his, and when I do, my thirst for vengeance will be sated by blood.
Please note that The Devil’s Vengeance is book 2 in the Vows and Vengeance duet, and should be read after The Devil’s Vow.

The Devil’s Vengeance is the second book in the Vows & Vengeance duet written by author Bella J. The story begins where we were left off in The Devil’s Vow, and all I can say is wow! I’ve been looking forward to reading the conclusion to Gian and Daniella’s story, and I wasn’t expecting it to be as dark as it was. However, I have to tell you that I was completely engrossed from the very first page and could not put it down!
The storyline is emotional and filled with several twists that I never saw coming! Now, I’m dying to fill you in all of the details, but this is one story that you need to read and experience yourself! However, I can tell you that this was an intense story, and there was nothing that could have pulled me away. I can easily say that the Vows & Vengeance duet is definitely one of my favorite mafia stories!

The Devil’s Vow is the first book in the Vows & Vengence duet written by author Bella J. I really love the author’s Sins of Saint series and looked forward to reading this new dark romance. The Devil’s Vow tells the story of Daniela Moretti and Gian Silvestro, who were forced to marry each other to satisfy a business deal between their parents.
Daniela’s parents sheltered her growing up, and she often felt like an object or a pawn in their game of life. Nevertheless, she always followed their wishes without any arguments. That is until she was informed that she had to marry Gian Silvestro. Daniela became very upset, although the alternative was not something she was willing to risk.
Gian knew that he would have an arranged marriage, but he never imagined having to marry Daniela Moretti. He hated the Moretti family with a passion, and he felt a deep disgust about the arrangement. As expected, their marriage was strenuous from the very beginning, especially when Gian’s brother showed up unexpectedly.
Daniella is such a strong character, and I loved how she was not afraid to speak her mind. Gian is still a bit of a mystery to me, and I look forward to learning more about him. There were so many unanswered questions, and of course, it ended with a huge cliffhanger.
I’m looking forward to reading The Devil’s Vengeance, which is the conclusion to their story.
