Do second chances exist?
Storm has been in love with Colin “Pope” O’Brien since she was thirteen but it wasn’t meant to be. Years later, the opportunity to be together presents itself—but it’s stolen away in the blink of an eye.
After a near-death experience, Pope decides to bear his heart to Storm and finally claim the woman he loves. But it just doesn’t seem in to be in the cards for them. Patience isn’t his strong suit, but forcing his way in will only push Storm further away.
Secrets, lies, and an outside threat could keep them apart. Is the timing any better this time around? Is love enough or will there always be something keeping them apart?

The Pope is the second book in the Gypsy Bastards MC series written by author Jade Marshall. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. Even though this is true, I suggest reading The Wolf first since it will give you a better foundation for appreciating Pope’s story. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.
The Pope tells the story of Colin “Pope” O’Brien and Storm Lin. Storm and her sister Winter grew up in foster care, and they lived next to Colin’s house. The three were close growing up, but Winter and Colin were closer in age and soon started dating. Even though Storm was a couple of years younger, she knew that she was in love with Colin. When she was sixteen, she finally got the courage to declare her love, but he rejected her. Feeling hurt, she ran away and hasn’t spoken to her sister since.
Ten years have passed, and Storm is now working as a stripper at a club owned by the Gypsy Bastards MC. Colin, also known as Pope, is the club president, and he vows to correct the mistake that he made years ago. When Storm receives tragic news, Pope steps up to offer support and his love.
The Pope is a gripping page-turner that kept me guessing until the very end! I seriously did not want to put it down!
I can’t wait for the next in the series!

Being hurt and alone is nothing new to Hadley. She’s survived on her own for as long as she can remember, and no one will dictate the way she lives her life. With loss and pain dominating her memories, how can she put her faith in someone again?
Having no one to depend on besides his club has hardened Brandon to the outside world—and it’s exactly how he prefers it. The moment he lets people get close they always find a way to backstab him. There’s no room for love in his world.
Hadley and Brandon need a reason to let their walls down and let love in. Can two broken souls find a way to save each other?

The Wolf is a steamy MC romance, and it’s also author Jade Marshall’s debut novel. It tells the story of Hadley and Brandon (Wolf), and I was hooked from the very first page. I have a weakness for strong alpha men. You know, the ones that know what they want and protect them with all that they have. Well, Brandon is definitely one, and he took it to another level!
In this story, Hadley has been on her own for several years. She has had a difficult childhood and has had to be careful to stay hidden from those looking for her. Her best friend, Storm, helped Hadley get a job at the strip club where she works. This is where Wolf, the Enforcer for his MC, first sees Hadley. Wolf has also been through a lot, and he’s immediately taken by Hadley, which spooks him.
The Wolf’s storyline was absolutely gripping, and I had a difficult time putting it down. I’m looking forward to reading more of the author’s books. I’m hoping for Storm’s story next!

I am a South African born author. I have a love for all dogs but especially
our Pitbull and Rottweiler. I am a wife to my best friend whom I met at
the age of sixteen and mother to a beautiful fourteen-year-old blonde
girl. I love to bake and hate to cook but am working at getting better at
both. I love to read just about anything except religious and self-help
books.Jade
