Over 750 Goodreads 5 star ratings!
Katrina Vega is set on one thing: finishing college. She’s determined not to let anything or anyone distract her, especially not hot brooding bikers. On her mission to stay focused, she doesn’t expect to be pulled into the fold of a motorcycle club, let alone into the arms of Alec “Mute” Stillwater.
Unable to keep her guard up, Katrina soon discovers that beneath the hard and rough exterior of a family she’s grown to care for, there’s also loyalty and passion she’s envious of. But falling for the club’s enforcer will not only threaten her plans but quite possibly her life.

Mute is the first book in the Dragon Runners MC series as well as the debut novel for author ML Nystrom. I have been feeling in a rut lately and this book really sunk its claws into me. I fell hard, and I didn’t want the story to end. The storyline was well developed, and I was hooked from the very beginning.
In this story, Kat has had a rough childhood and is doing the best she can to put herself through nursing school. She lives paycheck to paycheck and was looking for a new job. Luckily, Kat was able to get a new job at the River’s Edge Bar, which is owned and run by the Dragon Runners MC. Mute is the MCs enforcer and works at the bar as the bouncer. He is unable to speak due to a horrible accident when he was younger. Mute and Kat have fought their attraction to each other but eventually was unable to ignore their pull on each other.
Absolutely loved this story and can’t wait for Stud, the next book in the series!

stories in her head since she was a child. All sorts of stories of
fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured her interest. A
voracious reader, she’s spent many hours devouring books; therefore, she
found it only fitting she should write a few herself!
most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument

mold. She’s been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap

once, “Life’s too short to ignore the opportunities.” She
has no intention of ever stopping… so welcome to her story world. She
