A PARANORMAL ROMANCE
All that Russian aeromancist, Lann Dréan, wants is to enjoy a month of peace in the privately owned monastery in Santiago he is turning into a home. When an American literature student walks into his library of antique books, his holiday intentions change. The untouchable Lann is inexplicably enraptured. For all his famed control, he can’t stay away from Katherine White.
Gifted with a hunted talent and a price on his head, the best Lann can offer Kat are thirty days of unequalled passion before returning to his paranormal crime task force in New York. If Kat consents to his terms, she will agree to walk away on Day Thirty. Forever. But his uncontainable desire comes with an unforeseen price.
*This book ends on a cliffhanger. The story concludes in Aeromancist, Book 3.

Aeromancist, The Beginning is the second book in the 7 Forbidden Arts series written by author Charmaine Pauls. This novella is a prequel to Lann and Katherine’s story, which will continue in the third book, Aeromancist. Aeromancist, The Beginning was originally published in 2015, and it has since been re-edited and expanded. There will be a total of nine books in this series, and each one can be read as a standalone paranormal romance. Even though this is true, there will be an underlying storyline that will continue throughout the series. So, you may want to consider reading them in order.
The story takes place in Chile in an old monastery that Lann purchased and currently renovating. He discovered roughly 20,000 antique books, which he’s also repairing and restoring. Lann’s goal is to eventually turn the monastery into a museum, but in the meantime, he only opens the doors to the public one day a week.
Katherine is currently writing her thesis, and she often goes to the monastery for research. When Lann first noticed Katherine, his desire for her was strong. However, he could only offer her thirty days, and then she’d need to walk away. But could they keep their feelings out of the deal? Can they walk away from each other at the end of their time?
I’m looking forward to the conclusion of Lann and Katherine’s story, which is set to be published Mid-December.

A DARK PARANORMAL ROMANCE
Fifty houses have been burned to the ground in a fisherman’s village in France. Who would do such a thing? Why target the quiet little village? The police say it’s arson, but their forensic scientists can’t find the cause. If Clelia isn’t the guilty party, then why did the fires start at the same time as her sleepwalking? Why is she dreaming about Joss, her secret childhood crush who abandoned their village nine years earlier? She doesn’t know why Joss is coming for her in her nightmare. All she knows is that she has to run. As fast as she can.
(Each book in the 7 Forbidden Arts series reads as a standalone, but there’s also a series arc.)

Pyromancist is the first book in the 7 Forbidden Arts series written by author Charmaine Pauls. This story was originally published in 2015, and it has since been re-edited and expanded. There will be a total of nine books in the series, and each one will tell the story of a different couple. Even though this is true, there will be an underlying storyline that will continue throughout the series. So, you may want to consider reading them in order.
Pyromancist tells the story of Clelia, who has had a childhood crush on Joss, but it’s been roughly nine years since she’s last seen him. Then out of nowhere, she started having these strange dreams of him. Oddly, it’s always the same dream, and she usually finds herself waking up in a different place.
Then Clelia discovered that several houses have burnt down, and coincidently, it’s always on the nights that she sleepwalks. Is Clelia responsible for the fires?
Pyromancist is a fabulous start to the new series, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
