I have a million reasons for staying away from Cindy Meier. Let’s start with the top three.
One, she’s hot and knows it. She lives in a fantasy world where everyone bows to her wishes and wants.
Two, she’s the sister of my brother’s fiancé. Enough said. We have to organize our sibling’s wedding party weekend. Nothing but planning will happen between us, no matter how much her seductive glances curl around my desires.
Three, I’ve finally crawled out of the hell I created. I’m not about to risk returning to it for a pretty smile and a smart mouth.
No matter how sexy those lips, or how much she makes me laugh.
See, I used to be just like her. All about the good times, chasing my next party, diving into any and all pleasures.
I’d realized too late I couldn’t afford the cost. The price was too high, and those closest to me ended up paying my tab.
I won’t make that mistake again. So, I’m going to ignore her smile that lights me up. Turn from her exuberant laughter that brightens the dead corners of my soul. We’ll do our part for our sibling’s wedding then go our separate ways.

A Taste of Passion is the third book in the Opposites Attract series written by author D.K. Marie. Each book in this series focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. A Taste of Passion was the first book that I read in the series, and I was able to follow along without any issues.
A Taste of Passion tells the story of Will Grimm and Cindy Meier. Will’s brother and Cindy’s sister are engaged, and they first meet while planning their siblings’ bachelor/bachelorette getaway. However, Will and Cindy don’t get along, which makes the planning difficult. Will has had a difficult past, and he works hard trying to get his life back on track. Cindy is a famous model, and her life is parties and photoshoots all over the world. At first glance, I could not possibly imagine them together.
As the story continues, Will and Cindy can not fight their attraction for each other, and they decide to have some fun together with no strings attached. Although soon, their feelings for each other grow into a lot more than they expected.
A Taste of Passion is a great Opposites Attract story, and I recommend adding it to your TBR list!

DK Marie’s a voracious reader. Her number one love is romance and devours any and all of its genres, but also enjoys thrillers, horror, and non-fiction. Basically, if there are words on a page and a spectacular story, she’s diving in, heart and soul.
However, there’s one thing she loves even more, and that’s writing her own steamy contemporary romances. They’re a mixture of heart, heat, and humor. Brimming with confident heroines and kind heroes, all living, loving, and lusting in and around her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
When not falling in love with her characters, DK Marie is laughing, relaxing, and planning her next adventure with her family. Okay, and also drinking boatloads of coffee, chatting on social media, and dreaming about her next travel destination.
