Pretend You’re Mine is the first novella in the Club Abbott series, which is written by author Hazel Kelly. This quick read tells the story of Carrie Callihan, who has just launched her interior design business. The story begins with Carrie trying to decide the layout of an advertisement that she’s going to put in the paper. Then, she’s planning on going home early to celebrate, although things soon take a turn.
Ben Abbott wants to open a nightclub and is really excited when he finds a building in a great location. He contacts Carrie’s office, after seeing her advertisement, to help with the design. The two hit it off great, and they plan to meet up again soon to go over more details. Although they soon bump into each other at the store. Carrie soon finds herself in a situation, and she quickly asks Ben to help her out.
Pretend You’re Mine is a great start to the series! The story ends with a cliffhanger, and it has us wanting more! I’m looking forward to reading the next one in the series!
The Deal is the second novella in the Club Abbott series, which is written by author Hazel Kelly. This series has a continuous storyline. Therefore you’ll need to read the books in order. Oh, and since this is only the second, be prepared for it to end with another cliffhanger!
The Deal continues where we left off with Carrie walking home from the store. She can’t seem to stop thinking about the kiss with Ben, and she’s even more confused about her feelings. The one thing she knows for sure is that she needs this job opportunity that Ben is offering. Although before he can show her the building, he finds himself in a situation, and this time, it’s him asking Carrie to help him out.
I really love Carrie and Ben’s banter, and their chemistry is pretty hot! I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
The Wedding is the third novella in the Club Abbott series, written by author Hazel Kelly. So you’re aware, this series has a continuous storyline. Therefore, you’ll need to read the books in order. Oh, and since this is only the third one, be prepared for it to end with another cliffhanger. Oh, and it’s a doozy!
The Wedding picks up where we left off with Carrie thinking about Ben and the time they spent together. Carrie realizes how much fun she’s having with him, but she has to remind herself that their relationship is fake. But is it?
Ben understands that Carrie just got out of a serious relationship. So, he doesn’t want to push her too early, even though their chemistry is off the charts. When he did talk to her about their arrangement, I was happy that he finally told her the truth.

The Fight is the fourth novella in the Club Abbott series, written by author Hazel Kelly. So you’re aware, this series has a continuous storyline. Therefore, you’ll need to read the books in order. Oh, and since this is the fourth book, be prepared for another cliffhanger.
The story picks up where we were left off, with Carrie waking up after she fainted at Ben’s father’s wedding. She didn’t handle the situation very well, and her first reaction was to run. Sadly, Carrie pushed Ben away, and I felt really bad for him. Ben kept trying to talk to Carrie, but she really didn’t want to hear it. But is that what she really wants? Did she push him too far?
I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
Yours is the fifth and final novella in the Club Abbott series written by author Hazel Kelly. As I started reading, I had mixed feelings for Carrie. I understood her fear of getting hurt again, but I didn’t particularly agree with her actions. I felt bad for Ben, especially after he put his heart out there. But when Carrie realized her mistakes, she decided to prove to Ben how she truly felt for him.
Carrie went to talk to Ben’s father, hoping she could help Ben achieve his number one wish for his club. That was definitely one of my favorite parts of this novella. Well, that and when Carrie and Ben reunited!
I truly enjoyed reading this series!
