Slash is the 4.5th book in the Slay Quartet written by author Laurelin Paige. This standalone novella can be read as either an introduction story for those that haven’t read the series or a bonus story for those that have. The Slay Quartet is an amazing story of Edward Fasbender and Celia Werner, and I just loved them so much. So, when I saw Slash, the story of Edward’s sister Camilla Fasbender, I got so excited!

Camilla is a photographer, and she signed up to teach an upper-level class for those with photography experience. She never expected that Hendrix Reid, a well-known wildlife photographer, would take her class. He also happens to be the man that Camilla had a steamy night with about seven months ago.

Hendrix has been looking for Camilla ever since she snuck out. Now that he found her again, Hendrix’s determined to get to know her better. Although Camilla has had a difficult past, and she doesn’t know how to take his advances. She honestly feels most comfortable behind the camera and away from the attention.

Slash is such a fabulous story, and it’s a great addition in the Slay series!
