Bully King is a captivating bully romance, and it’s the first in the Kings of High Court College novels. This story does have a happy-for-now ending, and there will be a second book that’s expected to be released later this year.
Bully King tells the story of Cooper Valcourt and Cadee Hunter. Cooper’s father is the chairman of the High Court College and Prep school, and he’s considered one of the elites on campus. Cadee’s parents worked for the elite, and she’s lived her whole life there on the campus. However, Cadee didn’t go to the school and was instead homeschooled. Cadee lived a pretty sheltered life, and she’s now alone without an idea of what to do. Cadee was then offered a scholarship if she’d work at the eight-week-long summer camp. It sounded too good to be true, but she soon found out that everything was not what it seemed.
Cooper and his two best friends, Ax and Lars, were manipulated into running the Fang and Feather summer rush camp. Cooper then became the king that his father expected, and he ruled over the camp as a true bully. Cooper set out to make Cadee’s life difficult, but he soon became conflicted. Cooper and Cadee have been through something three years ago, and it’s something that he hasn’t even told his best friends.
Bully King was an exciting page-turner, and I sincerely didn’t want to put it down! Now, I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
