I first read Beautiful Broken Rules when it was first published in 2013. It’s the first book in the Broken series written by author Kimberly Lauren, and it’s full of drama, angst, and it’s oh so steamy! It’s also one of my favorites, and I can’t even count how many times I’ve read it!
Beautiful Broken Rules tells the story of Emerson Moore, who is such a great character. Her parents passed away a couple of years ago, and since then, she hasn’t wanted to get too close to anyone. She has gained a reputation while at school, but she knows who she is and owns it! Jaxon Riley and his twin brother Jace have recently moved to the area. They just happened to move in next door to Em, and I got to tell you, I loved how they first met. They’re both very attracted to each other, but he doesn’t agree with her rules. But, as their friendship continues, their desire for each other finally wins out. And that’s when the drama really begins!
Beautiful Broken Rules is an amazing story, and in my opinion, a must-read for all new adult college romance fans!
