Compass Boys Book 1
By Jayne Rylon & Mari Carr
Release Date Sept. 5th, 2017

A brand new, never before released standalone story in the Compass saga from New York Times andUSA Today bestselling authors Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr.

Austin Compton has struggled to live up to the Compass legacy his entire life, afraid of disappointing his overachieving family. After dropping out of college, he convinced his parents to buy a big rig and let him contribute to the Compass Ranch in his own way.

On the open road he discovers a happy medium between the freedom he craves and the obligation that comes along with the Compton name. When he picks up some unexpected cargo in the form of a gorgeous if battered stowaway, he’s in trouble. The same reckless urges that convinced him to abandon his education are telling him to keep Hayden close and safe, maybe even teach her how to love again after the disastrous relationship she’s fleeing.

When troubled times fall on Compass Ranch, Hayden will do anything to repay the kindness Austin and his family showed her. It’s time to support Austin like he’s done for her, if her past doesn’t catch up with her at exactly the wrong moment.

It is so satisfying to be back with the men and women on Compass Ranch!  Heaven on Earth is the first book in a new series called ‘Compass boys’, which is Austin Compton’s story.  Austin is the son of Silas, Lucy, and Colby from Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr’s novel Northern Exposure – Compass Brothers # 1.

Ms. Rylon and Ms. Carr do a fabulous job of writing a standalone story for those that have not read the other books, while still including friends and family for us who have read them.  It’s not necessary to read Northern Exposure before this, it’s just a great series and nice to know some of the backstories.

Austin does his part for the Compass Ranch delivering cattle, hay, horses, or whatever else is needed.  On his way home from delivering some cattle, he discovers a woman in need of help. Hayden is on the run from her abusive ex-boyfriend when she stows away in a comfy trailer parked nearby.  Thinking she will just take a nap, she wakes up with the trailer driving down the road and no idea what to do next.

This is a fun steamy story, and I recommend you add it to your TBR list!
