Tiffany Reisz’s USA Today bestselling Original Sinners series returns with the long-awaited sequel to “The Queen.”

When a New Orleans parish priest is found dead of an apparent suicide, the police see no reason to investigate. Private detective Cyrus Tremont knows a cover-up when he sees it, however. A former cop, he’s seen it all…or so he thought.

Clues point him in the direction of Nora Sutherlin, an erotic romance writer who moonlights as a dominatrix. Together, they form an unlikely bond built on their shared need for justice.

As Cyrus is drawn deeper into Nora’s underground world of pleasure and pain, what lines will he cross to discover the truth about the priest? And what will he and Nora do with the truth once they find it?

“The Priest” is the beginning of a new era for Reisz’s Original Sinners series, and the perfect jumping-on point for new readers.

The Priest is the ninth book in the original sinners series written by author Tiffany Reisz. I have read several of the books in this series, but I haven’t had the chance to read them all. Even though this is true, I had no problem following along with the storyline.

The Priest is a steamy mystery novel, unlike any that I’ve read. I wish I could explain it better, but I really can’t without going into too much detail. Like all of Tiffany’s books, there’s some serious steam involved as well as several big twists! I truly loved it and was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole story!

Several of the characters from the series do appear in the storyline, but it wasn’t in a confusing way. Actually, it only intrigued me to add their books to my TBR list!

The Priest is an amazing story, and I’m looking forward to the next in the series!

Tiffany Reisz is the author of the internationally bestselling and award-winning Original Sinners series for Mira Books (Harlequin/Mills & Boon). Tiffany’s books inhabit a sexy shadowy world where romance, erotica and literature meet and do immoral and possibly illegal things to each other. She describes her genre as “literary friction,” a term she stole from her main character, who gets in trouble almost as often as the author herself. She lives in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband, author Andrew Shaffer, and two cats. If she couldn’t write, she would die.
