Holy Shite!
I am literally drunk, for lack of a better word. I mean Kiss Me with Lies just blew me away, and I about died when I got to the end of the book. I actually counted the days until Bury Me with Lies was going to release, and I nearly tore into it when I saw it on my Kindle!
The first book was so emotional and full of twists and turns, and I was so excited to see where SM Soto was going to take me in this next book. And let me tell you, it was above and beyond what I could have imagined. I remember stopping at one point, being stunned silent. I couldn’t believe the ride that she was taking me on, and I looked to see how much more was left in the book. I was shocked that I was only 35% in!
When I thought the author couldn’t shock me anymore, that’s when she pulled the rug and totally flipped my world! I can’t express how much I love this duet.
It’s epic, intense, emotional, gripping, panty-melting, and utterly unforgettable! This is by far the best duet that I have read in 2020 and SM Soto’s best to date!

During their senior year in high school, Madison was brutally killed. Mackenzie had a difficult time dealing with her twin sister’s death, and she was determined to uncover the truth about what happened to her.
The story then jumps ahead nine years, and Mackenzie finally figured out how to get the proof she needs to uncover the killer. During this quest, she meets Baz, and he’s everything that she’s always dreamed about. Although, Mackenzie feels like she needs to find the proof of Madison’s killer. But is she willing to risk everything to get it?
Kiss Me with Lies is an utterly unforgettable story, and one I will not forget anytime soon. It’s explosive, emotional, and full of twists and turns!
