Wicked Games - Review

Title: Wicked Games
Author: A.M. Myers
Series: Bayou Devils MC # 8
Release Date: March 6th, 2020

The only remaining single member of the Bayou Devils MC, Travis Broussard, refuses to fall in love. His brothers may have found happiness but with his dark past still haunting him, he can’t afford to let any woman get too close.

Rowan Archer has had her fair share of heartbreak, but after the sudden loss of her mother and finding her boyfriend in bed with another woman, she reaches her breaking point and moves across the country to be closer to her brother in Baton Rouge.

One drunken night and the need for a temporary relief bring two broken hearts together. Sparks ignite between Travis and Rowan but it can’t last. It’s clear there is no future for them and they each agree to keep things casual but you know what they say about best laid plans.

Someone begins to target the club, tormenting them in a sick little game of cat and mouse as he makes promises of pain and bloodshed in the name of revenge and Travis’s past catches up to him when he least expects it, forcing him to make a choice.

Saving those he loves means pushing Rowan away but Travis has no other option with the dark threat looming over all of their heads.

Wicked Games is the eighth and final book in the Bayou Devils MC series written by author A.M. Myers. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. Even though this is true, there is a background story that continues throughout the series. So, I highly suggest reading them in order.

Wicked Games tells the story of Travis Broussard (Streak), and I’ve been looking forward to reading his story for some time now. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait! Streak is a computer genius, and he’s been trying to figure out who’s been targeting the club. Every lead he finds turns into a dead end, and he’s getting very frustrated. When Rowan, Kodiak’s sister, moves to the area, both Rowan and Travis can’t keep their hands off each other. They say they’re just having a good time, but it slowly builds into something more.

Wicked Games is a great story, and it’s a fantastic end to the series!  The storyline was gripping, steamy, and I loved every minute of it. Honestly, I’m a little sad to say goodbye to the guys of the Bayou Devils, but have no fear, the second generation will be coming soon.

Never Let Me Go is the Sixth book in the Bayou Devils MC series written by author A.M. Myers. This was the first book that I have read in the series, and I had no issues following along.  Each story focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. This book focuses on Sawyer, also known as Moose, and Juliette.

The Bayou Devils MC make it their mission to help women and children out of dangerous situations.  Sawyer was on his way to Miami to help someone when his MC president calls.  He asks if Sawyer could pick up Juliette and bring her back to Baton Rouge.  Juliette was in a serious car accident which left her in a coma for a week. Sawyer and Juliette fall for each other rather quickly, and their story was definitely a thrilling one.

Never Let Me Go was an exciting story that kept my attention throughout the whole book. There were several twists in the storyline that I didn’t expect, and  I was constantly trying to put all the puzzle pieces together.

I definitely recommend you adding it to your TBR list!

Every Little Thing is the seventh book in the Bayou Devils MC series written by author A.M. Myers. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple and can be read as a standalone romance. Even though this is true, there is a background story that continues throughout. Therefore, I do recommend reading them in order. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.

Every Little Thing tells the story of Wyatt (Fuzz) and Piper. Wyatt is an ARMY veteran and an ex-cop.  He’s been working hard on trying to find a connection to the women that were recently murdered. He’s frustrated, angry, and seeing all his brothers fall in love is starting to get to him. He decides to try dating again, but he’s surprised to see who walks into the restaurant.

I just loved this story!  It was well written and impossible to put down. The storyline was thrilling and full of twists and turns. I was gripping my book throughout the whole story.

I cannot wait to read Wicked Games, which is the last book in the series due out Feb 2020.
