Once upon a time she became mine.
Mine to keep.

She was a healer.
He was a serial killer.

She helped people.
He destroyed them.

She was a beautiful angel.
He was a vicious monster.

She wanted to run away.
He captured her instead.

She promised to never surrender.
He guaranteed that she would.

Two lives, the hunter and the prey, forever entwined together.
In this battle of wills there would be no winner.

I’ve been looking forward to reading Arson’s story for some time now! Arson’s Captive is told with a dual POV, and it switches back and forth between the past and the present. It’s set in the same world as some of the author’s other characters, like Lachlan, Santiago, and Callum. What I love is that it’s not confusing for those that haven’t read their stories, but a treat for those that have read them. Although I do recommend reading them when you have the opportunity.

Arson’s Captive tells the story of Chloe and Arson. Chloe lived in a cult-like atmosphere which was called Heaven. It seemed to be a great place for her and her mother to go, although things weren’t as it seemed. When Arson first sees Chloe walking on the grounds, he grabs her. She is everything that he isn’t, and he wants to own her.

The story is dark and twisted at times, and it does get graphic at times, so be aware. It’s a definite add to your TBR list!

About the Author:
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
