Depraved is a blazing hot romantic suspense novel by author Eva Charles. It’s the first book that I have read from the author, and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work! The writing is fabulous, and I was utterly captivated from the very beginning. There’s not much that could’ve pried me away from this story!
Depraved is the first part of the Devil’s Duet, so be prepared for the story to end with a cliffhanger, and it’s a doozy! The good news is that Delivered, the second part of the duet, will be released on March 21st.
I do believe that this is a story that you need to read for yourself without any spoilers. So, I’m not going to go into any detail about the plot. Although, I will tell you that the story of JD (Julian) and Gabrielle is so dang hot! I mean, just look at the cover… it’s so delicious! I was often at war with myself as I was dying to know what came next, but at the same time, I didn’t want it to end. It’s that good!
This is a one-click, must-read, stay up late kind of book!

Absolutely Flipping Fantastic!
Delivered is the second and final book in the Devil’s Duet written by author Eva Charles. This duet has a continuing storyline. Therefore, it is necessary to read Depraved, the first book in the duet before beginning this novel. I absolutely fell in love with JD in the first book, and I just couldn’t wait to read the conclusion. My expectations were really high going in, and Ms. Charles did not disappoint!
The storyline is undeniably captivating. Not only is the storyline fabulous, but the characters are so well developed. I went through so many emotions while reading this book. I often felt like I was on a roller coaster, and I must admit that I felt a bit drunk when I finished. This is undoubtedly one of my favorites of 2019!
Grab a drink, a spare pair of panties, then buckle up, and enjoy this fabulous ride!

Cruel Sanctuary is the first book in The Wages of Sin duet by author Tara Leigh. This duet does have a continuous storyline, so be prepared for a doozy of a cliffhanger! The good news is that Corrupt Savior, the second book in the duet, is expected to be released mid-May. Therefore the wait will not be too long.
Cruel Sanctuary tells the story of Aislinn Granville and Damon King. Aislinn is the daughter of James Granville, who is the district attorney in NYC. He is planning on running for Mayor, and there are a lot of people who would like to see him fail. Damon King is a serious bad boy, and I have to admit that he makes me weak in my knees! The storyline has so many twists and turns that I was continually trying to put all of the puzzle pieces together. Everyone seemed to be hiding something which resulted in me being on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book.
I must admit that Cruel Sanctuary is one of my favorite books of Ms. Leigh. It seriously was all that and a bag of chips! The storyline was captivating, suspenseful, and so dang steamy, and I loved every minute of it! I just can’t get enough of Damon, I need more!
It’s one of my favorites books of 2019.

Corrupt Savior is the second and final book in ‘The Wages of Sin’ duet. I absolutely loved the first book, Cruel Sanctuary, and couldn’t wait to read the conclusion to Damon and Aislinn’s story. Corrupt Savior begins where we were left off, and I am dying to fill you in on all the details. Although, I really do believe it will take away from your experience. So, I am going to write this without going into too many details.
Corrupt Savior’s storyline had the perfect combination of suspense and steamy sex scenes. The characters were complex, well developed, and I just loved how Aislinn was such a strong female character. She had no difficulty standing up for her beliefs, and Damon was the perfect anti-hero. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I recommend having an extra pair of panties nearby for this one!!
One of my favorite stories so far in 2019.

Wow! Praying for Rain is absolutely amazing!
I was initially drawn to the book’s cover, although after I read the description, I was all in! Usually, I’m not drawn into dystopian stories, but this one really got to me. It also happens to be the first book that I have read from author B.B. Easton, and it definitely won’t be my last!!
Praying for Rain is the first book in a trilogy which tells the story of Rainbow Williams and Wes Parker. It occurs in a pre-apocalyptic world where it is believed that the world will end on April 23rd. Everyone has nightmares about the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and no one has an idea how to change it. Therefore society has turned to anarchy, violence, and no one is safe.
The book begins on April 20th, and Rain is so hungry that she leaves the safety of her house to go to Burger Palace. It happens to be one of the few places to get food, but she’s attacked by the people at the restaurant then kidnapped by Wes. The story continues with so many twists, and I was absolutely spellbound by how vivid it all was to me. Praying for Rain was so gripping that I genuinely was unable to put this book down!
I can easily say that this was one of my favorite books for 2019!

Oh Em Gee!
I must admit that I was first drawn to The Rebel of Raleigh after seeing the cover. I mean, it’s so dang hot! After reading the blurb, I knew I needed this book so I immediately one-clicked it. Now I’m wondering where the heck I’ve been and why was this my first Callie Hart book? Not only was the storyline amazing, but the characters were well developed, and the writing was flawless!
So you are aware, there were some difficult parts within the book. So, do pay attention to the trigger warning!! Now with that said, I believe Ms. Hart did a fabulous job of telling Alex and Silver’s story. It was heartbreaking, emotional, intense, and I loved every minute of it! The story does have an HFN ending, but there will be a second book coming soon.
I can’t wait for the continuation! I need more of Alex and Silver!!!

Flipping Fantabulous!
Revenge at Raleigh High is the second book in the Raleigh Rebels series written by author Callie Hart. So you are aware, this series has a continuous storyline. Therefore, it’s necessary to read The Rebel at Raleigh High, which is the first book in the series. Now, with that out of the way, I can tell you that I’m dealing with a severe book hangover!
Revenge at Raleigh High was so above and beyond what I was hoping for. It’s absolutely amazing, and I have an insane need to gossip about what happened to Silver and Alex. But, I won’t as this is one book you need to experience yourself! Needless to say, I cannot wait for the next book in the series!
So, grab a drink and some snacks, get comfortable, and prepare yourself for an incredible ride!

Beauty in the Broken is a fantastic standalone dark romance, and it tells the story of Damian and Lina. Lina is the daughter of Harold Dalton, the man who set up Damian which resulted in him serving six years in prison. When Damian is released, he has only one goal, and that is to seek revenge. He begins by forcing Lina to marry him. This helps gain the power and money necessary to take over Dalton’s diamond mine. Damian continues his retaliation, but along the way, his desire for Lina grows.
Beauty in the Broken grabbed me from the very beginning, and I just didn’t want to let go. I was caught between wanting to read faster to find out what happened next and wanting to slow down so I could savor every word. Damian was the perfect example of an anti-hero, and I couldn’t get enough of him.
I really can’t express how much I love this story. It was by far one of my favorites, and in my opinion, a must read!

The Fallen: Genesis is the prequel in Tillie Cole’s new series called the Deadly Virtues, and all I can say is OMFG! I love the Hades Hangmen series, and I was so dang excited to start this new one. I knew it was going to be a bit darker than the Hangmen, but wow! It was incredibly dark, raw, and gritty, and I went through so many emotions while reading.
It started off with brothers Joseph and James sharing a room at the Holy Innocents Home for Children, which is an orphanage run by the Catholic Church located in Boston, Ma. Joseph is the older brother, and he feels a strong need to help and protect his younger brother. After an eye-opening scene, I was gripping my Kindle tightly, and I could not stop reading. I became mesmerized by the characters and the storyline. I found that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, yet I wanted to savor every word.
I am counting the days until Raphael, the first book in the series is released! A definite add to your TBR list!

I have read all of Tillie Cole’s Hades Hangmen series, and I tried to imagine the tale that Tillie would weave. And let me tell you, it was so much more than anything I could have imagined. Raphael was beautiful, frightening, gritty, emotional, touching, and absolutely unforgettable.
I became so completely captivated that I honestly didn’t want it to end. Raphael was explosive, and it literally blew me away!

Wow! That was flipping fantastic!
Slay: Rivalry is the first book in the Slay Quartet, and it’s one of my absolute favorite books this year! It does have a continuous storyline, so be prepared for it to end with a massive cliffhanger! Honestly, I must admit that I cursed a couple times when I got to that last page.
The storyline was full of so many twists and turns, but it was the characters that really made the story even more amazing. Celia and Edward had me going back and forth between loving and hating them. They also knew how to really turn up the heat! Phew (fanning self). I want to tell you all about it, but this is one book you need to read without any spoilers!

OMG!
I have been waiting for what feels like forever for Ruin, which is the second book in the Slay Quartet, written by author Laurelin Paige. I absolutely love the first book, and I almost died when it ended with such a massive cliffhanger! So, as soon as I saw the second book on my Kindle, I dropped everything and dove right in! In case you’re not aware, this series has a continuous storyline, so make sure you read Slay, the first book in the series. Also, be prepared for it to end with another cliffhanger!
Ruin starts where we were left off in the first book. And let me tell you, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I just devoured every word! And I am dying to fill you in, but you seriously need to read it on your own without any spoilers! I just love Celia and Edward, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the third book Revenge, which is expected to be published on February 25th, 2020.

This for That is the first book in The Edge of Retaliation series written by author Bella Jewel. I’ve been so excited to read this story that I jumped right in when I saw it on my Kindle. Let me tell you, it was an explosive read, and I so want to spill all the beans, but I won’t. This is one book that you should read without any spoilers!
This for That was impossible to put down. Not only was the story gripping, unique, and full of twists, but the characters were complex and really well developed. I was so engrossed in the story that I forgot it ended with a cliffhanger, and I about died when I reached the end! So, be prepared for a doozy of a cliffhanger!

Therefore, you need to read the first book in the series, This for That, before you can begin this one. Now that I got that out of the way, I can tell you how much I flipping love this story. You for Her was an absolutely explosive read, and I just devoured it!
I literally ignored everyone and everything and just read. There were so many twists and turns that it was nearly impossible to put my book down. Right when I thought I figured some things out, Bella unraveled another twist that had me yelling at my book. My husband thought I was nuts, but I just kept saying that he didn’t understand. Then I proceeded to tell him how angry I was at some of the characters (Sorry, I can’t go into details! I don’t want to spoil it for you).
The thing is, not only was the storyline amazing, but the characters were so well developed. I felt a connection to Callie, and as I read, my emotions were right there with her. And let me tell you, I cried!
Like last time, I recommend that you grab a drink, some snacks, and get comfy! You’re going on another epic ride, and it will have you gripping your Kindle tight! Oh, and prepare yourself for another big cliffhanger!

Absolutely Incredible!
Then and Now is the third and final book in The Edge of Retaliation series written by author Bella Jewel. This story is explosive, and it’s definitely one of my favorite books this year! In case you aren’t aware, this series has a continuous storyline. Therefore, you’ll need to read the books in order.
Then and Now is suspenseful, emotional, and full of twists. It was so gripping that I literally ignored everything and just read. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! Although, at the same time, I didn’t want to reach the ending as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the characters.
I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but I got to tell you that the ending was perfect!
I loved every minute of this series!

I don’t want to go into too much of the storyline, as I believe you need to experience it yourself without any spoilers. I will say that Underneath the Sycamore Tree touched my heart in ways that’s hard to talk about. I was sick last year, and my family and I went through a lot. I understand a lot of what Emery went through, although, at the same time, I can’t imagine it.
This is one of those stories that will stay with me for a long time, and in my opinion, a must-read!

WOW!
I am in complete awe right now, and I’m trying to figure out how No Saint is the first book that I’ve read from author Jo Raven. Seriously! This book rocked, and let me tell you, I ignored everything that I needed to do. I even stayed up way too late and finished it in a day, and it was worth every yawn the following day!
No Saint tells the story of Ross and Luna, and I loved every minute of it. I have read that Ross is the half brother of Merc, Octavia, and Gigi, who are from the author’s Wild Men series. I’m not sure if it’s a benefit or not that I had no prior knowledge of Ross. I didn’t have any negative emotions coming into the story, and I’m aware that those that have read her other stories may have. Ross definitely was damaged in many ways and I think the title was incredibly fitting for him. I also understood Luna and felt for her. I have been in her situation in more than one way, so I know how she felt.
The road to ‘happily ever after’ is not always paved in gold, and it’s sometimes not paved at all. This definitely was the case for Ross and Luna. Their road was, at times, painful, rough, and rocky, but it also was beautiful and definitely steamy!
No Saint is truly unforgettable, and one of my favorite books for 2019!
