This Week's #TBT Book Suggestion - Tall Tatted and Tempting

Personal Note:
Tall, Tatted, and Tempting by Tammy Falkner holds a special meaning to me, and it’s something I didn’t expect when I first read it in 2013. Logan is such an amazing book boyfriend, and I immediately fell hard. First off, being a tattoo artist is pretty badass! But his love for his family and friends really did it for me.
Fast forward to February 14th, 2018, when I first found out that I had breast cancer. I then found out two weeks later that I had the breast cancer gene (BRCA 2+), and I needed to have a double mastectomy. Many thoughts, both positive and negative, ping-ponged inside my brain. One of them was Logan when he was tattooing the mastectomy tattoos.
So, after six surgeries and 16 difficult months, I finally made the appointment and got my mastectomy tattoos. I even brought my 11-year-old daughter with me. It was a humungous step for me, one that has helped me immensely.
Not having nipples is extremely hard, and it impacted so much of my life. When I looked into the mirror, all I saw were my scars. But now, I can thankfully say that I only see my tattoos.
Thank you, Tammy, for writing Tall, Tatted, and Tempting and for giving me something to look forward to through a very tough time in my life!
XOXO, Rachel

Logan wants to know my name, but I can’t tell him. I can’t tell him anything. There are too many people looking for me. He’s pretty persuasive, though, and he convinces me to go home with him so he can keep me safe from this harsh city where I find myself. It’s not my home. It’s his. He belongs. I don’t.
Logan lives with four brothers in the inner city. Yet I’ve never felt more safe than I do when I’m with him. I want him. But he won’t let me have a darn thing, aside from his friendship, unless I’m willing to tell him my secrets. But they’re mine, and I can’t share them. Not unless I want them to come and get me.
Logan
She catches my eye because she’s so beautiful she takes my breath. But that’s not all that I love about her. I love the way she smells. The way she smiles. The way she plays the guitar is unlike anything I have ever seen. She sleeps in my bed every night, and drives me crazy with her touch. But I can’t take what she offers because I need all of her. I need for her to tell me her secrets. I need for her to trust me.
From the back of the book:
She’s locked up tight. But he might be the key.
Logan Reed is tall, tatted and tempting.
Kit’s a woman with a mean right hook and a secret.
Kit wants a tattoo, but Logan sees more than she intends to share in the drawing of the tat she wants. He sees her in ways no one ever has.
Logan’s not disabled; but he hasn’t spoken in eight years. He hasn’t needed to.
Until he meets Kit.
Logan doesn’t know everything about Kit. Kit doesn’t know anything about herself,
until she has to sacrifice all she ever wanted to save what’s most important to him.

Tall, Tatted, and Tempting is one of my favorite books. If you look at the outside cover, it looks like many other romance novels…but it’s not! The characters have real-life issues, they struggle and never give up. The Reed brothers have a great relationship and there were many times that I just laughed out loud. The storyline is gripping and I really felt a part of the story.
In this story, Logan is a tattoo artist in his families shop. He lost his hearing when he was younger and his brothers all learned to sign to communicate with Logan. Kit, who has dyslexia and can’t read well, is a runaway. She enters the shop to get a tattoo and has an amusing interaction with Logan. Kit has learned to be a strong woman, which makes them a great pair and a great book!
Once you begin Logan’s book, you will become addicted and want to read the rest of the series.
A Fabulous Series!

Tammy Falkner lives on a farm in a lovely, sprawling little town in rural NC with her beekeeper husband and a house full of boys, a few dogs, and a cat or two (or five – who has time to count?). As half of the Lydia Dare team, she has co-written ten books, including the Westfield Wolves series and the Gentlemen Vampyre series. A huge fan of Regency England, she often wonders what other kinds of magical, mythical and strange creatures might live and interact within the ton. Exploring the theory that the fae can walk between Regency England and their own land, Tammy spends as much time as possible with the lords and ladies of society, horse-drawn carriages, and elegant balls. Now add to that some faeries, a little murder, a bit of mayhem, and a troublesome garden gnome, and you have her exciting new series. She hopes you enjoys her world as much as she does.
