Release Date: August 23, 2016

One devastating night leaves friendships and relationships irrevocably changed.
Landon Hayes, an all-star wide receiver, is spiraling out of control after one shattering night that altered everything for him. He has one shining star left in his life but he knows he doesn’t deserve it.
Macy Thomas, a college sweetheart trying to find her way, is holding on to the boy who stole her heart. She’s stuck on the sidelines watching as he throws his life away though. The guilt is pulling him into the blackness threatening to take her and everything he has going for him along with it.
When the heartbreaking reality sets in, can Macy still be Landon’s guiding light or is the past too cloudy to help them find their way back to each other?

Macy & Landon, Madison & Cash, and Alexa & Steven are all best friends in their senior year of high school. Landon, Cash, and Steven are all top football players and they are hoping to win this year’s state championship game. Everything is picture-perfect until one horrible night when things seem to spiral out of control. Will they ever be the same again? Can they forgive each other before causing more damage?
Surviving Regret by Megan Smith is an emotional story and I was drawn into the plot almost immediately. The characters are so very realistic and dealt with their pain all in different ways. I felt very connected to them and read this book in one sitting!
I highly recommend this story!
This is not your typical high school/college romance!
