Overall: 4.5 / 5Room 143 is a great standalone romance from author Laramie Briscoe. As soon as I opened this book, I was completely hooked on Caroline and Nash’s story. The story was emotional, sweet, and touching, and I didn’t want to put it down.
In this story, Nash works and manages his family-owned garage. He has been going through a difficult time in his life. It’s been five years, and Nash is still mourning the loss of his wife. His brothers are tired of seeing him so sad, and they want Nash to be happy again. They think it’s time for him to move on, so they hire an escort and a suite at a nice hotel. All he has to do is decide if he wants to continue to live in the past or take the first step towards being happy.
Caroline recently moved from Atlanta to the small town of Harper Valley. She now lives near her best friend, Taylor, and she’s looking forward to starting a new job on Monday. But first, Taylor is in a bind and asks Caroline if she can do her a big favor.
Room 143 was a gripping story, one you won’t want to miss!
