Another fantastic book by author Karen Renee!
Foolish Riot is the fifth book in what’s become one of my favorite MC series. Each book in this series tells the story of a different couple, and this one is Roll and Trixie’s. I believe you can read it as a standalone romance, but I suggest starting at the beginning of the series. I think it will give you a better foundation to understand and appreciate the background stories. Just know that it’s only a suggestion.
Foolish Riot’s storyline is absolutely captivating, and the characters are gripping and so well developed. Roll is moody at times, and he gives off a mysterious vibe which drew me in. He has a lot of baggage that he’s keeping from Trixie, thinking he’s doing the right thing. But Trixie has been there for Roll for ten years, just hoping that he’ll claim her. She has a feisty attitude, and I was rooting for her through-out. When Trixie becomes targeted because of Roll, he decides he needs to step up. Although it’s not that simple. Trixie is a strong woman, and she does not make it easy for him.
This may be one of my favorite books in the series! I loved every minute of it, and I can’t wait for the next in the series!

Karen Renee is the author of Unforeseen Riot and Inciting a Riot. She has wanted to be a writer since she was eight years old, but it’s taken the last twenty plus years for her to amass enough courage and overall life experience to bring that dream to life. Some of those life experiences came from the wonderful world of advertising, banking, and local television media research. She is a proud wife and mother, and a Jacksonville native. When she’s not at the soccer field or cooking, you can find her at her local library, the grocery store, in her car jamming out to some tunes, or hibernating while she writers and/or reads books.
