Animal Magnetism is the second book in the Protectors series, a paranormal shifter romance written by author Toya Richardson. Even though each book in the series tells the story of a different couple, I do believe it is best to read the series in order. This will give you the information needed to fully understand and appreciate the background stories. Just know that it’s just a suggestion.
This book tells the story of Solange, an elemental, and Evan, a bear shifter. I’ve been looking forward to reading their story, and I was not disappointed. Solange is trying to understand her elemental powers and the idea that Evan is her mate is just too much to handle. She decides to leave the protection of the forest, and this leads to not only her being in danger but Evan as well. How will she handle it when Evan is threatened? Can Solange and Evan find their way back to each other?
Animal Magnetism was a suspenseful paranormal romance, and I quickly became engrossed in the storyline. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!

Wild Desire is the first book in The Protectors series, a paranormal shifter romance written by author Toya Richardson. This book tells the story of Elias and Mila. Elias is a deer shifter and the head of the Protectors. He’s been wanting to meet his mate for a long time and is surprised when he finally finds her.
Mila left home after her parents died, and she had no plans of ever going back home. Especially since she received threats from Drake Scott, a man whom she feared. Several years later, she started to feel a pull to return to her childhood home. So she found a job as a park ranger and returned. When MIla arrived, she felt a deep connection to the forest and the animals. Especially to a beautiful deer, and soon realizes that there was a lot more going on in the forest.
Wild Desire was a suspenseful paranormal romance, and I truly enjoyed it. I became engrossed in the storyline and had trouble putting it down. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

Writing has been my passion since a very early age. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of my mum, who was also my best friend, in 2009 that I started to take it seriously. My mum’s wish was to see me published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book written by me is dedicated to her.
My main genre is romance, with books published in contemporary and paranormal romance. I also have the first of a trilogy published in YA Fantasy, there is an element of romance in this series, although the focus is predominantly the heroine’s quest.
When not writing, or reading my main hobbies are; cinema, theatre, gardening, keeping fit, Formula One racing, darts and spending time with friends.
