“To keep her safe, I’ll make her deadly.”

FROST

Punching out a creep in a bar, Daisy Simmons picks a fight with the wrong people: a ruthless human trafficker and his vicious son. They’ve called me, their expert assassin, to “handle” her. Eliminating rival criminals has made me wealthy and quelled my thirst for vengeance, but I have rules: I don’t kill the innocent.

To keep Daisy alive, I have only one choice: take her captive and hide her in my dungeon. To save her, I must learn her secrets. She’s buried her past, and I have to know why. Who is she? Why does she look familiar? How did she become so irresistibly feisty? Why isn’t she more afraid of me?

Refusing to despair, she fights me constantly, torn between needing and hating me. Captivity awakens her dark, deviant hungers – her need to be dominated and used. Beautiful and twisted, she sates my desires like no one else ever could. There’s far more to her than what’s on the surface, and I’m going to uncover everything.

My bosses want Daisy dead, but I can’t keep her locked away forever. Protecting her means taking drastic measures: betrayal, deception… even training Daisy to kill…

“The Agency taught me to survive – and I will.”

DAISY

My life was a mess long before I stood up to the infamous Burke crime family, but I don’t regret it, not even when their hired gun comes for me. When Frost breaks into my home, I expect to die – not to be imprisoned without any hope of escape, at his mercy and stripped of my dignity.

He punishes my resistance with cruelty and humiliation, but I can’t give in. I won’t accept my fate. I’m not defenseless – and I have friends. The women of the Agency prepared me for the worst. They’re out there, and they’ll find me – if they discover I’m missing in time. I can’t count on it – I must fight for my life, no matter how I feel about Frost.

He’s caring and kind for a sadistic killer, with heart-stopping looks and a godlike physique. I can’t ignore my body’s primal response to being owned by him. He infuriates me and excites me, stoking my endless carnal passion. And when he teaches me to fight, he reminds me who I really am: a conqueror.

I’ll find a way out of here. I’m not afraid of anyone, and Frost’s making me more dangerous every day. We will face a cunning enemy, but together we are unstoppable…

Another fantastic story from author Sansa Rayne!

Deadly is the fourth book in The Agency series, and it can be read as a standalone dark romance. Even though this is true, many of the characters from the first three books do appear and play a part within the storyline. I do suggest that you read the books in order, but that’s because they are all fabulous. Also, it will give you a better foundation to appreciate and understand the backstories. Just know that it’s not mandatory.

I was absolutely captivated by this dark and gritty story of Frost and Daisy. I am dying to fill you in on all the juicy details, but this is one book that you need to experience yourself! So, go grab yourself a drink, and some snacks, then buckle your seatbelts and prepare yourself for an amazing ride!

MARLA

Alone at a bar, recently fired from my job and about to move, no one will notice that I’ve gone missing, and my abductors know it. Smuggled to a secluded facility in the mountains, locked in a cell and stripped of my dignity, they’ve threatened me with a fate worse than death. They aim to break my will. They plan to erase me.

My captors are vicious monsters, except for one: the doctor, Gabriel. He urges me to accept their control and spare myself months, or even years, of pain and torment. Yet his merciful demeanor hides a dark, burning secret. Smoldering and mysterious, I’m drawn to him and his talk of submission. He may be my best shot at escape, but I hunger for far more.

With Gabriel’s help, the others will pay for what they’ve done to me. They wanted a toy, but they’ve woken a terror…

GABRIEL

If I’d known the truth about Halloran Asylum, I would have burned it to the ground long ago. Now I’m an accessory to unspeakable crimes, and no one will ever believe my story. For years I made peace with fate, but after a violent episode pushes me to the edge, I swore never to let them harm anyone else. Now they’ve taken another, and I can’t let it go.

I need to make Marla understand her strength and resolve will only cause her greater suffering. At first, training her is just a way of buying time, but her response to my touch, my command, drives me wild. I have to have her, but standing in my way is a horrid truth that could cost me her trust. If that happens, we’ll both be lost, trapped in this place forever.

I don’t care. I’ll risk everything for Marla, even if it means letting out the beast within…

Holy S_ _ t!

Erased is a seriously dark and psychologically thrilling book…. and I absolutely LOVED every minute of it!

Author Sansa Rayne wrote a fabulous book that often messed with my mind and I devoured it in one sitting!  I wanted to read faster to find out what happened next, but also struggled as I did not want it to end. The storyline is unique and well-paced and the characters are well-developed and complex.

I decided that I am not going into the plot as I think it’s best to begin this story without any spoilers or hints of what is to come.  I do believe that this is a must read for all those who love dark romances/psychological thriller!

Exalted

I have a new shepherd now.

I didn’t choose to fall for Aldous Occestem. The most hated man in Coventry, he antagonizes the town’s beloved megachurch at every opportunity; he operates a notorious, satanic-themed BDSM club; and now he’s a suspect in the abduction of my friend, as well as several other missing women. He should repulse me, but I can’t resist the way he makes me feel.

He leads me into temptation.

Handsome, dominant and sadistic, he ignites my intense hunger for submission. He doesn’t know I’m a private detective, investigating the case on my own. Our relationship started as a cover, but now I’m addicted to his world of carnal sin. Even if he’s not the kidnapper, his one-man war with the powerful Pastor Jones is a powder keg ready to explode, and I’ll be the one caught in the crossfire.

I fear no evil, for he is with me.

I should get out while I still can, but the deeper I dig into his life, the more I need him in mine. He knows how to soothe the pain from my past. He longs to own me, and I yearn to be his.

Something sinister is happening in Coventry. Innocent or guilty, Aldous is at its center. I won’t stop until I know the truth, even if it makes me the target of an unspeakable evil…

It’s so great to be back in author Sansa Rayne’s dark and steamy world!  The stories she creates are so vivid and gritty that I always get lost in her books and Exalted is no different!  First, I need to do a fangirl cheer about characters Marla and Gabriel from Ms. Rayne’s book Erased.  They both play a part in this story, and I loved it!  Now, if you haven’t read Erased, no worries!  You can read Exalted without any difficulties. If you have the time, I recommend you read it, but know it’s not necessary to understand this story.

I’m going to do my best to write this spoiler free!  I know some of you will want the juicy details, but I feel like you should experience this without knowing the summary.  I do recommend that you read the blurb as well as the publisher’s note, but that’s it.  If you love dark and steamy books that have a ton of twists? Then this book is a must read!

“They may own me, but they’ll never control me.”

QUINN
I tried running, but he followed me. I hid, but he found me. I couldn’t escape, so I defended myself. Now he’s in a coma, and I’m in prison.

Except, the Walker Center isn’t a normal jail. In here, inmates work. Twelve hours a day, every day. If we misbehave, vicious guards punish us. They strip away our dignity, turn us against each other and rob us of our sanity. No one leaves, except as property.

My only hope may be Reed Nolan, an unapologetic sadist on a mission to break my spirit. He torments me every day, delighting in my pain. Defying him awakens intoxicating, dark desires. My perverse need to be dominated becomes my secret weapon, with every stroke of his whip powering my will to survive, to fight the evil of this place.

My captors are going to pay for what they’ve done. I want to open Reed’s eyes, to turn him against the monster he serves, but if I can’t, I won’t let anyone stand in my way…

“The truth may set you free, but it’ll still hurt.”

REED
For most of my life, I’ve called Lance Prescott a friend. His father, a popular congressman, got me my job at the Walker Center. If not for him, I’d have nothing. So when I learn Lance will never wake again, I vow to make Quinn Harris suffer.

I don’t expect her to resist her captivity, to overcome the despair and hopelessness of her new reality. And when she tells me what really happened to Lance that night, my whole world begins to unravel. Falling for Quinn means questioning everything I thought I knew about the Prescotts, the prison and all their crimes. To win her love, I’ll have to face the hardest truth of all: that I’ve been a villain, not a hero.

Helping Quinn means challenging a massive criminal conspiracy. They’re not afraid to make people disappear – they’ll bury anyone who threatens their empire. Fighting them could cost me everything, but I’ve been complicit in their evil for too long. I’ll do anything to bring them down – even if it means gambling with our lives…

Enslaved is a suspenseful dark romance from author Sansa Rayne. It tells the story of Quinn Harris who was found guilty of trying to kill Lance Prescott, the son of a Congressmen.  The judge offered Quinn a shortened sentence if she went to the Walker Center instead of jail.  He described the Walker Center to be like a rehabilitation center, but Quinn soon finds herself in a place worse than jail.

Reed Nolan is one of the guards at the Walker Center, and he has a good reason to dislike Quinn.  Reed vows to make her suffer for what she’d done to Lance, his best friend.  Although, he finds himself questioning everything after talking to Quinn.  Reed has to decide if Quinn is telling the truth or the Congressman.

Enslaved is a thrilling dark romance, and I was drawn into this steamy story.  Once I picked it up, it was hard to put down!  So you are aware, this story has a lot of triggers and definitely not for those looking for a sweet/touching romance
