I was blown away by Demi Vice’s debut novel Jack’s Heart, which is also the first book in her Prison Saints series. When I heard about her new novella, Ceifador X, (pronounced Say-fah-dur) I became so excited, I couldn’t wait to read it! Just so you are aware, Ceifador X is the prequel to Knight’s Rose, which is the second book in the Prison Promise series. It is not necessary to read Jack’s Heart, but you will need to read Ceifador X before reading Knight’s Rose.
Ceifador X introduces us to Bianca Di Vaio, who is fifteen years old and the daughter of New York City’s mafia boss. Bianca is sheltered since she’s unfortunately very sick, and because of that, her dad locks her in her bedroom. He warned her to never cross any of his knights, but especially his most dangerous one, the Grim Reaper.
Antonio Castillo works for Bianca’s father and lives in the basement of the Di Vaio mansion along with Lorenzo, his uncle. When Antonio discovers Bianca’s locked door, he’s curious to know what’s on the other side. When the boss calls on them, they wear a silver mask which resembles a skull. They’re to be feared, but when Bianca sees him, she’s intrigued. That is until he does something that Bianca can never forgive.
Let me tell you, I just love this story, and I cannot wait for the Knight’s Rose, the next book in the series! While you wait for the release day, I recommend reading Jack’s Heart if you haven’t yet!

The Jack’s Heart
Prison Saints Book # 1
By Demi Vice
May 26th, 2018

I’m the Jackpot of all Men.
The Jackhammer of all F*cks.
The Jack of all Trades.
If you haven’t guessed it yet, the name’s Jack. For the last seven years, I gave up my freedom for a crime I didn’t commit, and all for money, my retirement, and my dreams.
When it was time to leave, my cellmate asked me for a favor. Find his sister, give her a letter, and leave. Easy, right?
Wrong.
Nothing about Ahri was easy. She was a stubborn beauty, an intoxicating mystery, and a feisty fury. She was nowhere near perfect, but perfection was overrated, and Ahrianna Lore was underrated.
I went along with the lie of who she thought I was—just some guy looking at the apartment next door. It was supposed to be a quick hookup, but curiosity got the best of me.
I read the letter.
Have you ever heard the story about the Jack of Hearts whose heart was stolen by a beautiful thief?
The Jack’s Heart is a complete standalone and a part of the Prison Saints series.
The Jack’s Heart is a dark romance with no cliff-hanger and a guaranteed HEA. This book contains steamy and graphic material that might be offensive for some.
*Disclaimer: The Jack’s Heart was previously titled Prison Promise.

Wow! That was an awesome story!
The Jack’s Heart is a thrilling dark romance full of suspense, grit, and so many twists. This is Demi Vice’s debut novel and the first book in the Prison Saints series. I was completely blown away reading this story, and I read it in one sitting! The storyline is unique, and the characters are complex and well developed.
In this story, Jack Baron is a bad boy who just finishing his 7-year sentence in jail. Before he got out, Luke, his cellmate, asked him to give his sister, Ahri, a letter. The story snowballs into a thrilling, dark and steamy story, which I absolutely love!
Fabulous and a definite add to your TBR list!

Demi Vice loves to create flawed characters who border between good and bad, heroes and villains, saints and sinners. Needless to say, she enjoys torturing her characters and readers, hoping their hearts shatter (just a little) to then be rebuilt by the end of her happy-ever-after books.
She lives in the windy city of Chicago, spending most of her time reading Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe, drinking gallons of coffee with whip cream (whip cream is a MUST), and creating her own covers, teasers, gifs, and anything else pretty.
