Zed is the first book in the Rough Ink series written by author M.V. Ellis. It’s also the first book that I have read from the author. Initially, I was drawn to the stunning cover. Although it was the book’s description that ultimately had me grabbing it. I’ve always loved reading books with a strong alpha male character, especially those, like Zed, that have piercings! Mmm…
Zed has had a difficult past, but he was lucky enough to have a mentor help him. So, when Xavier comes into his tattoo shop drunk and vomiting all over, Zed decides to make him a deal. Even though Xavier’s family is extremely rich and can pay the damages, Zed requests that he come in every Saturday along with his family’s Lawyer, Octavia (Vivi). Vivi is a confident woman, and she has no problem dealing with Zed and his difficult personality. They are as opposite as opposites come, but their disagreements lead to some hot and steamy scenes!
I truly enjoyed Zed and I’m looking for to reading more from Ms. Ellis.
