Blinded by
anger, the man who had sworn to protect me,
shot me in a fit of rage when I was only sixteen years old.
He thought
he killed me.
But my job wasn’t finished yet.
My days are
spent as President of the Heaven’s Guardians MC.
Nights are spent searching for the scum of the earth.
Rapists, Murderers,
Pedophiles.
They all answer to me.
I thought
I’d seen it all.
Thought my heart couldn’t be any darker.
Thought I knew exactly how far I was willing to go.
Then a
battered and broken woman was found behind our clubhouse,
and I realized, I’ve never had a clue about the monster that lurks within.
They may
call me Priest,
but I’d sell my soul to the devil before I let anything take her away from me.

Washed in Blood is Ashley Lane’s debut novel and it’s also the first book in the Heaven’s Guardians MC series. I love MC romances, and I’m continually looking for my next fix. The cover originally drew me in, but it was the description that really got me. I have a weakness for strong dominant men, which these guys definitely are!

Washed in Blood tells the story of Priest and Willow and it’s a bit different than any other biker book that I’ve read.  Priest is on a mission to rid the world of the worst possible people, the ones who shouldn’t be allowed to live. He stumbles upon Willow, who’s hurt and is hiding from those that are trying to hurt her. As she heals, Priest falls hard for Willow. Although she is keeping a big secret from him.  What will happen when he finds out?  Can he still keep her safe and away from those trying to hurt her?

This was an amazing story, and it was well written. I can’t wait for the next book!  I’m hoping it will be Demon’s story!

Ashley Lane has been passionate for words her entire life. But her true
love affair with books began when her husband surprised her with a Kindle for
Christmas in 2014. Since then, she’s become infatuated with words and the way
they can break you, but make you whole at the same time. Gradually, her love
for reading transformed and became a need to share the stories that had been
manifesting inside her head and heart for years. In 2018, after much convincing
on her husbands part, she opened a Word Document, and Priest was born.
Being the boy mom of an almost 2 year old and 9
year old, means she lives off Goldfish crumbs and Diet Coke. But when she does
have a spare minute of time to herself, you can typically find her parked on
the couch, Kindle within reach, catching up on the previous weeks episode of
Grey’s Anatomy or Hell’s Kitchen.
