Why am I always attracted to the wrong guy? Maybe it’s because the wrong guys always have so much going for them. Take Spencer Griffin, for example. Hot as hell? Check. Rich and hung like a horse? Double freaking check. A no-good shark in the water? Yep, he’s that too. My brain says to stay away, but my heart just wants… to stay. But we’re at war, and it’s take no prisoners. He’s played dirty over deals in the past and there’s probably nothing he won’t do to get what he wants. Well, there’s nothing I won’t do, either. The White Horse Piano Bar is more than a place to work… it’s my family and my home. I’m not letting it get destroyed without a fight. If only Spencer weren’t starting to feel like home, too.

Wowzers! That was HOT!

Love on the Rocks tells the story of Raven and Spencer. Raven works as a waitress at the White Horse Piano Bar, and she also helps Fitz, the owner, in the office. Fitz is getting older, and he’s considering selling the bar to Spencer’s client, who is remaining anonymous. Raven is completely against it and plans on doing whatever she can to stop the sale.  The only problem is that Raven and Spencer can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.

Love on the Rocks is a fantastic standalone romance and my favorite so far from the author. The storyline was captivating, and it was truly impossible to put down! I especially loved the second epilogue, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Completely Unputdownable!

I moved three thousand miles to get away from my best friend, Luke Fraser. Gorgeous. Funny. Intelligent. He was the whole package. Did I mention he was married? I couldn’t take the heartbreak of wanting something I couldn’t have, so I bailed. I had convinced myself that I was over him, until he ended up in my town for a six-week art commission. One look was all it took for my heart to break all over again. I wasn’t over him. Not one bit. But things have changed, and not for the better. Recently widowed, Luke is carrying darkness and secrets. Everyone tells me to stay away. Even him. He’s a mess. Broken. Incapable of giving me what he says I deserve. But regardless of what I deserve, there’s only one thing I need. Him.

Heart of Glass is a fabulous standalone romance which tells the story of Mia Watson and Luke Fraser.  Mia is a gallery owner and has been friends with Luke, an emerging glass artist, for many years. Luke was awarded the commission to install a glass art piece at the Swan Point Botanical Gardens.  The only issue is that Mia has been secretly in love with Luke for many years.  The project lasts for only six weeks, so Mia is hopeful she can handle it.  But, the last time she saw Luke, they were in New York, and he was married.

Heart of Glass is the first book in the Hearts on Fire series written by author Jordyn White. The story is well written, and I became immediately captivated from the very beginning.  It’s set within the Beautiful Rivers world, but you are not required to read the series beforehand.  It’s just fun for those that know the Rivers and their story.  I do recommend that you check their books out since they are also fabulous!

A definite add to your TBR list!
