Leslie
I have an incredible life. It’s exactly the way I’ve always wanted it. Even though I’m an Adamson, I’ve earned every bit of the life I have today.
I’ve made sacrifices but regret nothing. Who needs love, kids and a white picket fence?
Not me.
That is until a fast-paced, charismatic, yet broken-beyond-belief racer starts screwing with my head and okay, maybe my heart, too.

Cash
We all have demons. A past that haunts us. I’ve tried like hell to overcome mine and move forward.
And I’ve done pretty well for myself.
Now, when my past and present collide, I have to decide which direction to go.
I’ve always been one to go with my heart, but what happens when the ghost of my past and the key to my future both own a piece?

Misbehaved is the fourth book in the Adamson Family series written by author Nicole Dykes. Each book focuses on a different couple, and even though this is the first one that I have read, I had no issues following along.  The story does switch back and forth between past and present, but not in a confusing way.

Misbehaved tells the story of Cash Phillips and Leslie Adamson. Cash is a professional racer, and he’s trying hard to move on from a painful past.  He has a lot of demons, but he is focusing on cleaning up his act. Leslie is a sports journalist, and she’s had to work extra hard to become respected by her peers.  She has no time for love and is perfectly content to make an arrangement with Cash.

The storyline was unique, gripping, and oh so steamy! I was hooked from the very first page and had a hard time putting it down! It’s a definite add to your TBR list!!

I grew up in a small rural town in Kansas and currently live in a suburb of Kansas City. I love to read books that have main characters that are seriously flawed. I love to write and have been writing since I was in grade school. I wrote for my college newspaper and I just published my first book March 2015!
