Butt Ending
Big Stick # 2

Sloane has been on her share of dates. She just can’t seem to find the right guy to pop her virgin cherry. Sloane’s mother, a well-known sex guru, believes she’s suffering from a hostile vagina.
Poor Sloane is beginning to believe her mother’s professional diagnosis is true. Except for one small detail…
She’s been pining for her best friend’s brother, Oli, for the past decade.
Sloane’s heart is set on the unattainable, sexy-as-sin hockey player. She would give up on her Oli fantasy if it weren’t for those constant heated glares and that one passionate kiss that set her world on fire confirming her hostile vagina is right. Oli is the man for the job.
Problem is, Oli seems to have no intention of settling down and has clearly placed Sloane in the friend zone.
When crisis strikes, Oli and Sloane end up trapped in a car, driving to Canada with a sweet puppy and a whole lot of chemistry. But when Oli realizes she’s a virgin, he wants to run to the farthest hills to get away from her.
Sometimes happily-ever-after isn’t that easy…
Butt Ending is a laugh-out-loud friends-to-lovers story. Get ready for foodgasms, dirty talk, and one heck of a sexy alpha-male hockey player.

Butt Ending is the second book in the Big Stick series, and it tells the story of Oliver and Sloane. It can be read as a standalone romance as each book focuses on a different couple. The first book in the series, Big Stick, tells the story of Flynn (Oliver’s twin sister) and Myles (Oliver’s childhood friend). Flynn and Myles do play a part in Butt Ending, but it wasn’t confusing for those that have not read their book.
The prologue begins about 9 plus years earlier when Sloane and Flynn are in College. This is where Sloane first meets Oli, and their encounter is very amusing! We then skip forward ten years, and even though Sloane and Oli continue to have feelings for each other, there always seems to be obstacles in their way. Sloane starts to believe that she’s going to be a virgin forever and that it’s time to move past her desire for Oli. Oli doesn’t want to lose Sloane’s friendship, although he seems to have issues which are preventing them from trying to move forward. Oliver and Sloane’s story had many bumps in the road, and it definitely was not a simple path to happily ever after.
So you are aware, there wasn’t a lot of time on the ice. I was expecting this to be more of a hockey romance, but it was actually more of a friends to lovers romance. Either way, the story was great, and I laughed several times at the banter between the characters!
A definite add to your TBR list!

Hockey is my life. And it’s a great one. There’s an endless line of women, and I get to hang with my best friend Oli. Everything is perfect until she shows up. Oli’s twin sister, Flynn…hates my guts. I don’t blame her. I’m part of one of the worst nights of her life.
Now she’s next door and seeing her every day is killing me slowly. I wonder if we can ever get back to being friends. The way she looks at me sometimes, well, let’s just say my hockey stick isn’t the only thing that’s feeling hard these days.
But if she finds out the secrets I’m keeping, forgiveness will be the last thing on her mind.

About R.C. Stephens:
As far back as R.C. Stephens can remember she was a sucker for a good romance. Of course there had to be a prince charming even if he ultimately was a dark knight and there had to be a happy ending.
She watched the movie Dirty Dancing way too many times growing up and Jean Claude Van Damme movies too. Go figure!
After years of saying she would write a book one day, she finally put pen to paper and carved out the plot line for what would eventually become the best selling Twisted Series. Now R.C. is just finishing up her tenth book and can’t seem to stop the stories running through her mind.
