In 2012, I read a preview of an upcoming book, and I was captivated from the first page! At the time, it was for an upcoming book called Rule, and let me tell you, Rule Archer is one hot sexy bad boy, and I couldn’t get enough of him! At that time, I hadn’t heard of Jay Crownover, and I wrote it all down to remind myself to buy the ebook once it came out. Unfortunately, the preview didn’t have a date of release, so I had to keep my eye out for it on Amazon. After a couple of months, I forgot about Rule until I luckily saw it on Amazon. I was so flipping excited! I bought it, downloaded it, and then devoured it.

In this story, Shaw Landon was best friends with Rule’s twin brother, Remy. The family considered Shaw Remy’s girlfriend even after he passed away. She continued to be close to his family and eats dinner with them every Sunday. Shaw is a good girl and is in school for pre-med, but she has been keeping a secret.

Rule has a history of screwing up and living a reckless lifestyle after Remy died. He dislikes going home on Sundays, but always goes when Shaw picks him up. They are complete opposites, but one night of drinking changes everything. Can they get past their history and differences between them?

A fabulous story!
