Moment of Truth is a short story written by author Veronica Larsen.  It is one of twelve short stories written for Mixtape – A Love Song Anthology.  Each of the twelve stories is written by a separate author and they are each based on a different love song. A Moment of Truth is based on the song Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur. It was released in 2016 and on his album Back from the Edge.

Moment of Truth tells the story of Dean and Gabby.  They have been best friends since they were eight years old.  Dean and Gabby have feelings for each other, but they are afraid to say anything and ruin their friendship.  One night Dean sees Gabby out at a Valentine’s Day singles night with her good friend Remi. Dean wants to talk to Gabby about his feelings, but will he have the courage to do it?

I truly enjoyed this short story! It’s a definite add to your TBR list!
