Rock Rebel is the third book in the Nothing but Trouble series written by author Tara Leigh.  It can be read as a standalone romance since each book in the series focuses on a different member of the band.  Even though this is true, I do recommend you start off with the first book, Rock King. The Nothing but Trouble series occurs congruently, and if you read them out of order, you may learn some information that occurred in one of the other books. Just know that it is not necessary, just a suggestion.

 Rock Rebel tells the story of Dax Hughes, the lead guitarist for the rock band Nothing but Trouble.  Verity Moore was a famous pop star and she even had her own TV show. Then things happened and she’s now being shamed. Verity decided to make a career change and has signed up to be the opening act in Nothing but Trouble’s next tour.  Although, it’s not as easy as she thought it would be. Can a pop princess go on tour with a legendary rock band?

Rock Rebel is a gripping story full of drama, angst, with so many emotions. I was hooked from the very first page.  It was so steamy, and a must read series!

Rock King is the first book in the Nothing but Trouble series by author Tara Leigh.  I have read many rocker books, and they often retell the same story, over and over.  I was very happy to see that Rock King had an original storyline, and I truly enjoyed it. It’s full of angst, drama, and several steamy sex scenes.

Rock King tells the story of Shane Hawthorn, who is the lead singer for the band Nothing but Trouble.  The book does talk about the other band members, but the focus of the book in on Shane and Delaney. Not necessarily the band as a whole.

Shane is very successful, but he is keeping a pretty big secret from the world.  Only a couple of the closest people around him know what has happened in the past.  Shane finds that having a fake girlfriend helps to keep the past, in the past and the groupies away.

Delaney was just hired to be Shane’s girlfriend for the upcoming tour. She is also keeping a big secret from everyone. Shane doesn’t realize, but their pasts are very similar.  Shane and Delany are complex characters, and they kept my attention throughout the whole book.

I recently read Rock King from author Tara Leigh, and loved it so much!  I couldn’t wait for the next book in the Nothing but Trouble series.  When Rock Legend popped up on my Kindle, I was so excited.  Not only was this an excellent story, but it absolutely flipping rocked!

Rock Legend tells the story of Landon Cox, who is the drummer for Nothing but Trouble.  Landon is a successful rocker with a huge house and lots of money.  He is a well-known partier who enjoys his booze and one night stands.  That is until he saw Piper Hastings, the woman that he walked away from to become a successful rocker.

Rock Legend is emotional, steamy, full of drama, and completely un-put-downable.

A must read series!

Tara Leigh attended Washington University in St. Louis and Columbia Business School in New York, and worked on Wall Street and Main Street before “retiring” to become a wife and mother.
