Mad for You in Madrid is the third book in the Building Love series by author Stacy Hoff. This is a standalone romance, and it can be read on its own or read in order. Some of the characters from the first book do appear, but it’s not confusing for those that haven’t read the other books.

In this story, Lori works for her mothers’ company, and she is stuck following all of her orders. Lori has a difficult time standing up for herself, and the line between boss/co-worker and mother/daughter is often blurred. The story begins when Lori and her mother are at a big party. Her mother insists that Lori takes advantage of the people there and hand out her business cards. Her mother does not want to listen that Lori was about to leave with a handsome guy named David. Lori and David got along really well, and David was crushed when Lori never returned.

Unfortunately, Lori soon discovers that she needs to fly to Madrid, Spain for her next project. And who does she discover the project is with? None other than David. What will David say when he sees Lori? Will Lori ever get the guts to stand up to her mother and do what she wants to do?

Mad for You in Madrid is full of drama, angst, suspense, and desire. I was hooked from the very beginning!

Catherine (Cat) Warner and Ty Orland are both in Las Vegas for a hotelier Convention. Ty is trying to buy a key piece of land that Catherine owns, although she is not willing to sell it. She has fond memories of her family vacationing there and no amount of money is worth it to her. Ty becomes frustrated as he spent a lot of time and money on this project and her land is the crucial piece in building a new resort. Ty decides to meet Catherine in person at the convention to discuss selling the land to him.

Before their meeting, the convention holds a cocktail party which they both attend. Cat and Ty meet and there is an instant connection. They flirt and both have a great time, until Ty realizes he needs to leave to meet with Catherine. Unfortunately, he leaves before telling her his name, number or asking to meet again. Wouldn’t you know, who shows up to the business meeting… but Cat. They are both shocked and confused. Ty ponders, how can he try and convince her to sell her precious land when he also wants her? Cat wonders, is Ty really into her or is he just romancing her to get the land?

Betting on Love in Vegas was a fun beach read and I thoroughly enjoyed the story line. The characters were entertaining and recommend you adding it to your TBR list!

Hotter than the Caribbean is the second book in the Building Love series by author Stacy Hoff. This story is a standalone romance and can be read by itself or after the first in the series, Betting on Love in Vegas. The characters from the first book are mentioned a couple of times for those that have read the first book but it is not confusing for those that have not read the first book.

In this story, Mel (Melanie) has been sent by her family to begin a very important hotel lobby design in Puerto Rico. Her older sister Denny (Denise) was supposed to head the project but had an accident that delayed her arrival. Luis was assigned by his father to oversee the lobby design while his half-brother Raul was overseeing the room designs. Both Mel and Luis have difficult parents and they formed a bond from the beginning.
This story is full of drama, suspense, angst, competition, and a slow building romance full of sexual tension.
