Dressing up like little red riding hood and parading around a dark forest seemed like a brilliant idea. That is until a wolf started hunting me like I was the tastiest morsel in all the fairytale lands or would that be la-la land?

The night had been looking good. Even Jacks presence hadn’t diminished it all that much. I just wanted a change of scenery, a little party, one last hurrah before our big college graduation. Everything was going well. I had a few beers, a few laughs and then he started hunting me. The worst, or is it the best part, was that my rescuer was naked. Yup, wearing nothing but his birthday suit. I think I may have hit my head or had too many beers. If only it got better from there…

I thought being alpha was tough, but running through the forest at top speed to save your would be mate? My job had nothing on that. You would think she would be grateful, maybe even smile, hell, a thank you would be nice. Instead, she lobbed names at me, and none of them can be repeated. Unfortunately, the rogue wolf got away. A smart wolf would stay away, but he kept hunting her and trying to take her away from me. Mia was mine and if I had to kill him to keep her safe, so be it.

Mia’s Wolf is the first book in a new series called the Blackroads Pack by author Roxanne Greening.  This paranormal wolf shifter romance tells the story of Bastien, the alpha of the Blackroads pack, and Mia, a human. Mia is partying and celebrating her upcoming graduation with her friends in the woods.  As Mia leaves to head home, she gets lost and is threatened by a rogue wolf.  Bastien smells Mia and recognizes that she is his mate. He chases after her to try and save her from the rogue wolf.

The story is told from a dual point of view, and I was easily sucked into the storyline.  I truly enjoyed it!
